Is the idea that you find “true love” (or a relationship) when you stop searching just bogus?
Question by razzledazzleem: Is the idea that you find “true love” (or a relationship) when you stop searching just bogus?
Isn’t that like saying, “You find the best job when you give up trying to find one”?
If you just sit back and wait for a relationship or a great love to come along, then that means you’re not proactively going out and doing anything to improve your chances. It’s basically a numbers game; the more attempts you have, the higher the chances of a successful sale (or relationship). Waiting for a relationship to just come along and hit you upside the head because you heard it was pointless to pursue one will leave you old and alone.
I mean, think about it, why is there so much success with the whole “online dating” thing? It’s because people are putting themselves out there and are actively in pursuit of a relationship, with trial and error, no matter how many dates or meetings it takes…
So, I ask, why do people still say…”true love will find you when you least expect it?” Do you believe in that statement, and if so, should those who want to find true love just stop trying to date and find love and let it come to them?
Thanks.

Gay Relationship.. “When to say I Love You”?
Question by : Gay Relationship.. “When to say I Love You”?
I am in my mid 20′s and have been dating my man for four months now and I have really deep feelings for him. I can’t go a day without talking to him, I love being around him..either going out doing something or just chilling back home and just watching movies or talking. I haven’t felt this way about a person before. I am told by my friends that I seem like a mug happier person ever since I met him. I want him to know how much I love him but I don’t want to scare him away or make him feel uncomfortable in our relationship. What can I do??

GUYS: Did he sabotage our “relationship?”?
Question by : GUYS: Did he sabotage our “relationship?”?
Okay so LONG story short! They’re are two guys in my Language class. One of them (Guy A) friended me on facebook and started chatting/flirting with me on facebook, and anyways I was pretty into him..until one day he called this girl “hot” while we where chatting and I didn’t respond to him, and logged off cause I didn’t want to deal with him, that I knew he wasn’t interested at me (or atleast I thought) and anyways there recently is this other guy who I sit to (Guy B) who has been so sweet to me, and gives me compliments, and…etc..etc he told me he was going to get me something specail for Christmas and at the time he said this (Guy A) was right there next to us (so he heard Guy B flirting with me) but lately this week Guy B is usually outgoing, and loud and will talk to me almost everyday but he’s been acting really weird, he hasn’t talk to me almost at all. He rarely makes eye contact with me, although I caught him looking over at me the other day. And he’s been pretty quiet around me.
Awhile ago when I was chatting Guy A (way before this all happened, he asked me about Guy B and I told him I thought he was cute but I didn’t like him. I said this because I was interested in Guy A at the time and not Guy B. Do you think Guy A told Guy B I don’t like himm….cause I do now!! I like him a lot, but I don’t want to go up and be like “hey did_____ tell you I don’t like you?” Or do you just think Guy A didn’t say anything but Guy B is just starting to develop feelings for me?
