When that relationship ended, I found myself with a BS in Biology, a Master’s degree in Creative Writing, and a remedial (retarded?) understanding of attraction and dating. So I moved to New York City, ignored my pride and better judgement, and started hitting on women shamelessly. Naturally, I got lots of rejections, amassed a canon of funny stories, and wound up at websites for the dating advice industry. Eventually it also led me to my wingman and partner-in-crime, Mr. Zack Bauer. Together, Zack and I started to piece together the truth about picking up women. It may have involved some embarrassing nights and not-so-happy ladies (sorry ladies), but after approaching enough women, we actually started to figure things out and find success. I began writing my insights in magazines, blogs, and various dating niche outlets, such as TSB Magazine. The fast-paced and sophisticated life of New York City influences my style in both writing and dating. These days I split my time between nerd activities like writing, reading, and jogging and awesome activities like aggressive dating, aggressive teaching, and aggressive aggressiveness. CFG – What Girls Look At

itunes.apple.com Anthony wants to find out which one of his body parts girls look at when they first meet him. Four hidden cameras are placed on his body to conduct this experiment: a crotch cam, a bicep cam, a butt cam, and a glasses cam (so the viewer can always see what/who Anthony is looking at). All videos are being recorded onto HD DVRs that are placed in Anthony’s backpack. Anthony walks around New York City and approached different girls, asking them for directions. The video is a montage of some of the girls who chose to take a peek at either his butt, his crotch, or his biceps. What do YOU look at when you first meet a handsome young man? His chest, his legs, his face, his teeth?

Girls & Online Dating: Biography Profile Help?

Question by P.Y.T.: Girls & Online Dating: Biography Profile Help?
What do you think of this profile for online dating?
This is what I put up for a dating site:

Hey y’all, I just graduated from college this past May! :) . I currently work in Education & although I enjoy what I do, teaching takes up a lot of time & energy. Because of this, I can’t go out often during the school week. I do miss college, but I’m adjusting to this new stage of life that I’m in. Truthfully speaking, I’d prefer not to talk about myself but I guess I have to for these purposes.

As far as my personality goes, I’m pretty laid-back, shy at first but easygoing for the most part. I love to laugh & hang out with friends & family. I also love helping others, whether it’s through a volunteer effort or if they are my students. I try not to take myself or life too seriously & tend to have a positive outlook on life, more of a “glass half-full” mentality. But at the same time, I’m also realistic. Some other hobbies are: dancing, working out, teaching, reading, cooking, taking road trips, & running–one of my goals is to run a half marathon one of these days.

Hmm, what else can I say? Basically, I just joined this site out of boredom. We’ll see if anything comes out of it. I’ve never tried “online dating” before, but it’s always cool to make a new friend or maybe even get a date. I try to be open-minded about lots of things, and I figure you have to be willing to see what’s out there. I’d say more about me but c’mon, you gotta leave something to the imagination right? After all, less is more. :)

Is it too much or should I take some stuff out?

GIRLS – Online dating and being very blunt about my views on sex before marriage?

Question by Casual Catastrophe: GIRLS – Online dating and being very blunt about my views on sex before marriage?
I’m not really sure how to go about saying other than I’m an atheist guy but I feel very strongly about saving my virginity until marriage. I don’t want to be with a girl who isn’t waiting either and you can’t exactly go around using “hey.. you a virgin?” as a pickup line now can you? I’m 21 and in college and lets face it, when you are against drinking, partying, and having sex with more than one person.. well it’s not exactly easy to find others in college who are like you. Therefore I feel that my best bet is to turn to online dating.. but is it okay to blatantly post on my profile that I am waiting till marriage and am looking for a girl who is doing the same?

Yes this is a really big deal to me.. I’ve completely gone into shutdown mode on girls that I had everything else in common with and then found out they had done it with other guys. The way I see it if I have the self respect and control to wait then why shouldn’t the girl I end up with have the same views? It’s not something that I’m willing to “lower my standards” for.

Oh and just to prevent any confusion.. when I say “online dating” I don’t mean like using a site to meet someone halfway across the country and hold an online only relationship with them. I am going to try to use something like eharmony to find local singles that are compatible with me where otherwise our paths may never have crossed.
Wanting to wait has nothing to do with going to parties. I hate parties and hate being around drunk people so the fact that 98% of college students love to go to parties and drink means that my options are just THAT much more limited.

Some tips on the “Approach”? Girls and Guys?

Question by Sjpüpål: Some tips on the “Approach”? Girls and Guys?
So, I always, ALWAYS have NO IDEA how to approach a new girl (or any girl) to start a conversation.

How do you just approach a girl? Mainly, how do you START the conversation? That’s where my mind is completely BLANK.

Any tips? Ideas? How I go about this?

ALSO

I’m in Japan now with soo many cute girls here, especially here in Tokyo in Roppongi and Harajuku. There are COPIOUS amounts of cute girls, but I have NO IDEA how to start a conversation.

All my friends are like “you HAVE to get a japanese girlfriend OR you at least have to go on ONE date”

I WOULD LOVE to do this, but again I have no Idea how to start talking to them??

I only speak basic Japanese, which IDK if that’s an issue.

Any of you have any stories, tips, “trick” whatever to get a conversation started?

I just would feel too odd going up an being like “oh, your dress is really cute” or “so where you headed to”

I DON’T KNOW AND IT’S SOOO FRUSTRATING! lol

I like guys who are confident and outgoing. I guess I’m saying just go up to one of them and start conversation. Or perhaps surprise them so when they’re not looking at you then start talking to her.
