Question by razzledazzleem: Is the idea that you find “true love” (or a relationship) when you stop searching just bogus?
Isn’t that like saying, “You find the best job when you give up trying to find one”?
If you just sit back and wait for a relationship or a great love to come along, then that means you’re not proactively going out and doing anything to improve your chances. It’s basically a numbers game; the more attempts you have, the higher the chances of a successful sale (or relationship). Waiting for a relationship to just come along and hit you upside the head because you heard it was pointless to pursue one will leave you old and alone.
I mean, think about it, why is there so much success with the whole “online dating” thing? It’s because people are putting themselves out there and are actively in pursuit of a relationship, with trial and error, no matter how many dates or meetings it takes…
So, I ask, why do people still say…”true love will find you when you least expect it?” Do you believe in that statement, and if so, should those who want to find true love just stop trying to date and find love and let it come to them?

it could happen either way. it’s just that the journey/adventure is MUCH more enjoyable when you’re not hunting it down

I have a guy friend who is interested in me and I am in him but he won’t get another job. He’s been a courtesy clerk for 10 years and he is just not willing to find another job that gives him more pay and is better. He always complains about it and I personally wont date him until he’s better off financially. Whenever I tell him he just states that he has a job and it at least keeps the bills paid or he says he just doesn’t want to look for one right now. Any ideas as to why he’s like this and any ideas on how to get him get a different job?
oh and courtesy clerk is a fancy name for cart pusher

You shouldn’t not date him based on what job he has, especially in this economy when there are people without jobs.

here you will find a friend ip by using a simple program i created xD hope its usefull ————Downloads—————— www.mediafire.com here is the link you just unrar it and copy the ess net tools to program files or wherever u want and just use the .exe file, first u get into a conversation with someone second u open ip finder and find his ip then u open ess net tools and go to the option of NetAudit and put the ip there TIP for example the ip is 111.111.1.225 u may put (better results) 111.111.1.1 so it will search all posible ip’s (this is not a requirement)

Lately I’ve been lying around the house depressed (I have been diagnosed with depression but am trying to get over it on my own) and I have been searching online constantly for self help stuff. I’m starting to think that is a little crazy and maybe I should stop. What do you think? Self help stuff like dating, exercise, depression, etc.

One comment: exercise, fish oil and a low fat diet have all been shown to help with mild to moderate depression. These alone might get you over the hump?
